Are you kidding me? These are amazing!!! Number 1, they work! They keep my toddler out of rooms. #2, they are easy to install, use, and remove! No adhesive that destroys the door. No tricky hard to push buttons, especially for elderly grandparents. No smashing your fingers on levers at the handle. No chance of locking yourself in!!! Story time, my toddler locked me in the bathroom using a door lever type lock with push button. I luckily found a screw driver in the bathroom but ended up breaking the door knob and it wouldn't open. Luckily I had my phone as I was able to call my husband home meanwhile my 2yo had free access to the house unsupervised!! My husband ended up having to kick down the door.... this never could have happened with this device. My only negative is price. At about $20 a piece... ugh. I need 15, so thats about $300. Aye... wish these were more affordable.

As a mom to 11 children and using baby proofing products for 18 years, these are the best door locks I’ve ever used! They are awesome & work so well and easily. I love that they just slide onto the door so no damage or installation. It’s a snap to adjust the height so you can put them high enough for older kids to use. They do require 2 hands to open (one to push the lock over & the other to open the knob of the door) but that’s a bonus for making extra child proof. The feature to turn the lock “off” with the click of a button and that you can open the lock easily from both sides are fantastic features. Hands down the best door lock I’ve found, worth every penny!!

I took a chance despite the description saying these are for 1-3/8” doors, I am able to make this work for my interior doors that are 1-7/16” thick. I wish it was a tiny bit wider and then it would be perfect. I thought my doors were standard but maybe with multiple layers of paint over the years, it has become thicker. Functions as expected. Great for older children who have outsmarted all the other kinds of baby proofing tools for doors.

In my opinion this is overpriced for what it is/what it does-however it does actually work! I wanted something easy to remove, take with while traveling, easy to activate without having to actually lock the door...it has kept the kids out of the primary bedroom which was the intention but I am hesitating to buy anymore for other rooms due to the cost. It's such a small item, why is it $20!? I think it prices itself out from lower income parents from utilizing this :/

Honestly so impressed with these for baby proofing. When I first installed one according to the included instructions, it didn’t work, and I thought it wasn’t compatible with my door frame (as some other reviews mentioned), but it turned out to be my error in installing it. Once that was corrected, it worked perfectly and is so easy to use! I appreciate that it can be moved and adjusted on any door, or even brought with us during travel for child safety or security at a hotel. I also like that it can be kept in the unlocked position easily, and then simply reset to locked. It does seem to be pretty durable, so I do feel it was worth the price! Absolutely would recommend (and will likely buy more)!

These locks are extremely easy to install, require no hardware or adhesive, leave no marks, and can be opened from both sides, so one can't get accidentally locked in. They are a little pricey, but worth it.

Works amazing for my 2 sons who are both autistic. The locks keep them secured safely in their rooms over night. They are versatile and easily install on any door without damaging the door or frame. They are a strong plastic and metal material. They look and function very well.

I was looking around for some sort of child safety lock because my 3 year old has learned to open doors. One of our doors leads down to our basement and we were worried she would fall down them without being supervised. I came across the Huglock while doing my research and read a lot of reviews and many videos. I really liked the fact that we did not have to drill or stick it on the wall with any adhesive. It slides right onto the door and thats it. It was so easy to install and works just like we want. We can easily open the door with the latch button and it may be annoying to have to take that extra step to open the door but its a relief that i know my daughter is safe and she can't open that door. I would highly recommend to any one needing child proofing for doors you don't want your child to open.
